Toastmasters Project Speech # 2 : YOUTUBE

After my first speech had presented,

I would like to continue another speech project

which I had done yesterday

to let my spirit always to be inspired and full of passion.

Before the meeting,

I was struggling in choosing an appropriate topic for my speech.

I had no idea what I'm going to talk about

After the 2 days before it,

I was again watching YouTube Video

and Facebooking.

 And I suddenly had an idea,

since I was using internet daily

and also visiting YouTube everyday

Why don't use a topic which related to internet?

I have three in my mind.

" Facebook, Google and You Tube"

Three of them are almost everyone in this world

visited these website at least once.

In the end,

I choose You Tube because

Previously,

I saw there was news and statistics about YouTube.

And I had several ideas to explain it

So,

I go for it.

I wrote the script in the last whole night...

and also do some practices.

That was the situation during my speech XP

( WHAT WERE MY HANDS DOING??? XP)

Now,

THE MOMENT TO JUDGE THE SPEECH.

I was more nervous than my previous speech

because

my speech script was prepared by the night
before the meeting day

Lastly,
I was been given good feedback
and some suggestion
such as vocal variety
talking speed
or try to relate the point 
with my personal experience..
(ACTUALLY, I HAVE MY You Tube CHANNEL...I JUST UPLOAD SOME OF THE VIOLIN COVER AND SLIDE SHOWS)

As a conclusion,
I had done....
2 down, 8 to down
the next meeting will be held on 9 July

YOUTUBE FIRST EVER UPLOADED VIDEO

School Day? Public Holiday??!! Confusing

This morning as usual

I woke up from my cozy bed

(even I was very unwilling to wake)

Changed my clothes

and packed my bag

then went to school.

Different from other day,

the security guard asked me to sign the name book.

Sign name book during SCHOOL DAY??!!

I was like

" O....kay, it's a little bit odd. Anyway, I gonna go to class."

So, I signed it.

While I was signing,

someone was chatting with people

and he said

"......public holiday..."

PUBLIC HOLIDAY??!!

I'm confused now

What's the situation?

Today no class?

After few moments,

I searched from the internet.

And I just realised

that

today is Wesak Day

"Oh....., so that makes sense"

At first,

I feel awkward

because I think

I am the only one who thought today is a school day.

Well,

since I had come here SOoo... EARLY

Why don't just stay there studying, watching videos, and blogging

LIKE NOW..

That's one of my funny days in my life.

PS: Kinda seldom to post an all word post.....Since this is one of my memories, it should be kept originally without editing.

Favourite Artistes - SELENA GOMEZ

Well

I have lots of favourite artistes

As for today

I'm going to share with you

one of them

she is

SELENA GOMEZ

The first time I saw her in TV

was when I was watching
Disney TV Drama
" Wizard of Waverly Place"

which she acted as Alex Russo

That moment I was attracted by her.
" She is pretty."
" And she is magical"
At the same time,
the drama was pretty hilarious.
I was laughed until I got stomachache
and sat on the ground.

Then,
after some other dramas and movies
such as "Princess Protection Program"
"Wizard of the Waverly Place: The Movie"
I also noticed that
Selena is also a SINGER

with her band - The Scene

The first song that I heard from her was
" Naturally"

which I like the rhythm composed
and the lyrics written

Later on,
she come out some magnificent song
"Round and Round"

" A Year Without Rain"

"Who Says"

" Love You Like a Love Song"

And recently,
she came back with a brand new song
which presented another style of
SELENA GOMEZ
That was
"Come and Get It"

She challenged to sing and dance

in the same time.
And
she learned the INDIAN STYLE dance

which made me feel
FRESH!!!

Overall,
although there are some negative feedback about her
or maybe news which related
her relationship with Justin Bieber.

Yet,
she still be strong
she still be shine
and she was still
the Selena that we admired

My First Prepared Speech

Last Tuesday,
I had done my FIRST EVER
PROJECT SPEECH
in Toastmasters.

THAT was INSANE!!!

I can't believe that I made it.

Before that,

I was already drafted out my first speech.

I even use online stopwatch to practice my time taken.

( Although almost exceed the time limit.)

Then I practiced a few more times

to ensure

I won't be a statue in front of the audience.

Until the day of the meeting,

my teeth were trembling,

my hands were sweating,

and my heart was pumping rapidly.

And one more thing

for the Ice Breaker project

it was never mind to use notes

since this was the first speech.

Yet,

initially I want to make one.....

due the note made was too XXXX....

therefore I speak without the notes.

(It wasn't a bad fact.)

After the first two speakers were done,

now it's SHOW TIME.

At that moment,

I told myself

" Let everyone see what you got! Go impress them"

BLAR BLAR BLAR.......

In the end

the comments that I got were positive 

There are several things which can be improved

like more eye contact

try not to hold tight my hands like the vocalists

and do talk more about my family background or my dislikes or other info.

Dark Clouds in Malaysia

Normally,

I seldom put those politics related issues

into my blog.

Yet,

recently I posted one on it

and shared lots of links and videos

on Facebook.

Because there were too much

dark secrets

had revealed

and

must be known by all the people.

I made an exception on that day.

I was watching horror movies

How human can be such cruel and merciless?

How can they use weapon to attack those innocent people

no matter men, women or children?

Then,

505 at night.

We all are hoping that the government

will UBAH

BUT......

about 9 p.m.

BN casted some DARK MAGIC SPELLS

BLACKOUT

EXTRA VOTING BAG

SUMMON GHOST VOTER ARMY

etc.

In the end,

BN once again won to be our government for another 5 years.

Everyone 

was BROKEN-HEARTED

whereas 

BN 

was HAPPY and SMILE CUNNINGLY

At the moment they won,

Until now,

GENERAL ELECTION 2013

Recently

it was sure that

your Facebook homepage

was filled up with the politic issues

also promotion videos

and breaking news about the parties.

For my opinion,

I think that BN

was doing too much

UNNECESSARY STUFFS.

The concept of the transformation project

was good.

The execution was not bad.

The only problem

need to solve

was

the attitude to the society.

Based on 308 election,

not only 

PR using social media to promote themselves

as the factor of changes in politics.

It was also people started

to feel

the proud manner of BN

So

they want a change.

Now is 2013,

indeed that BN

has done pretty much

of changes
Such as transformation of all the fields

Carry out charities among the society

Trying to be involved in all the classes in society

etc.

Yet

the attitude of BN still

no sign of improvement.

The evidences are

the "LISTEN" issue

"PSY" News issue

OVER PROMOTION OF THE PARTIES THROUGH ALL THE MEDIA

We knew the good deeds

that you did

and we're really appreciated

but

over show-off these things

may makes us feel that

YOU JUST USING US

TO

MAINTAIN YOUR POSITION

If I am a normal person

while using the internet

then suddenly keep on

pop out BN advertisement

I will not vote for them

Therefore,

my little advice for BN:

Promotion is not wrong.

Over-promotion is also not wrong.

But seriously,

honesty is the best policy

Because we all knew

how much you actually do.
